This Year I Plan To...

Ok, if I'm being honest, I really really hate goal setting. Especially at school, during a Personal Development or Bounce Back Class, the teacher always gets us to set some goals for the year.
But why do I hate goal setting? Because goals like "Clean my room more often" or "get to school on time" to me don't even qualify as goals. Shouldn't those be things you're suppose to do anyway? I do them. Most of the time. It's always either I don't have much motivation to do something or I do. And therefore, I either achieve a goal or not. So "clean my room more often" I think I'm pretty good at, and "get to school on time"... oh well. After those two, I don't really have any more goals to set, but the PD teacher still needs me to write something down besides 1) getting to school on time.
Trust me, I've tried many methods: buying motivational quote cards ("Don't watch the clock, do what it does. Keep going."), detailed to-do lists, new stationery. F-A-I-L. FAIL
And I think I operate fine without to-do lists anyway.

Soooo, school starts in almost four days!!! AHHHH. Actually, didn't I mention I sort of like school in the previous post? Yep. I think I did... Okayyy... Just interpret the above as a positive way...hehe...
Even though I said I hate goal setting, this year I do plan to try and keep my room clean, so I decided to do an un-haul of my entire room. I divided the task into two days and I think I spent about... maybe six hours in total??
I mangled my closet first (Now it's so organised! ;0;) then my side table/skincare table thingo and then I saved the hardest till last because I didn't want to do it... My jungle of a desk! DUH DUH DUH! I went in with a heart that was finally ready to let go years of collected pen memory and I actually threw away so many pens. It was very hard to part with my beloveds.
Then, finally! I wrestled my way through the mess, the dust and the allergic reactions! I'd like to thank my mum, my dad for teaching me how to clean my room and no thanks goes to my brother, who came to trample on things and disrupt my music.
Here's to a clean room for the rest of the year!
